Job Opening: Junior Garments Technician – 2 Positions (Male Only)
Poppys Knitwear Pvt. Ltd., Tiruppur, is looking for experienced Junior Garments Technicians with a strong background in garment construction, fit, and production processes.

Role Summary

As a Junior Garments Technician, you will support the technical team in ensuring garment quality, fit, and production efficiency. You will work closely with designers, merchandisers, and production staff to translate buyer requirements into accurate, high-quality garments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in pattern making, grading, and sample development.
• Conduct fit checks and suggest corrections to ensure garments meet buyer specifications.
• Support in pre-production approvals and coordinate with sampling teams.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to stitching, finishing, and garment construction.
• Maintain technical documentation, including measurement charts, fit comments, and sample records.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to reduce rework and improve efficiency.

Qualification & Experience

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in garment technology, preferably in knitwear or woven apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with CAD systems for pattern making is an added advantage.

Skills Required

• Excellent understanding of fit, measurements, and garment specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination with production teams.
