Job Opening: Colorist – 2 Positions (Male/Female)
Poppys Knitwear Pvt. Ltd., Tiruppur, is seeking experienced Colorists with a minimum of 5 years’ expertise in textile and fabric color matching, dyeing, and shade development.

Role Summary

As a Colorist, you will be responsible for developing, matching, and approving fabric shades to meet buyer requirements, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality in all dyeing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and match fabric shades as per buyer specifications.
• Conduct lab dips, shade approvals, and bulk production follow-ups.
• Ensure consistency in color across different batches and fabrics.
• Work closely with the dyeing, finishing, and quality teams to resolve shade variations.
• Maintain records of formulations, shade cards, and approvals.
• Implement corrective actions for shade mismatches and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay updated on new dyes, chemicals, and color-matching technologies.

Qualification & Experience

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in textile/fabric color matching and dyeing.
• Strong knowledge of dyes, pigments, and textile processing.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and shade matching systems.

Skills Required

• Excellent eye for color accuracy and detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination with production teams.
